Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

If you need to return a product, please read below for instruction, as by purchasing products from our website, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions, and the returns policy.

 

IMPORTANT- Whatever the reason for the return, can you please add a covering letter briefly explaining why you returned your product, your order number and FULL contact details. By doing this will help the  team deal with your request as fast as possible. ALSO we strongly advise that you send any product back by registered mail (So a one of our staff member has to sign for your returned product so you have proof of delivery). Unfortunately items do go missing in the post and if we do not receive a product we cannot be held responsible as the product is your responsibility until we receive them back and have signed for them.

If you need to return your product for whatever your reason, this must be within 30 days of purchase and must be in the same packaging from when you bought.

Once receiving a returned item an experienced member of our staff will check to see if the product (s) has a factory fault (If this is the case a refund or replacement will be sent at our cost). If we find this fault is either wear and tear, and or misuse from the customer, in this case no refund or replacement will be sent.

We will email our reason why we came to this decision and if you want the product returned, you must forward the postage cost first.

Please Note: We cannot offer a refund or replacement on any wear of the palms on any of our gloves. This is because the palm is a soft latex material and will naturally wear from your first use, and then with every usage. Also as poor pitch conditions, wearing gloves on artificial turf and even using a worn out football can drastically wear the palm away, for this reason we cannot guarantee our palms.

Plastic Glove Palm Covering: With certain gloves in our range that have a sticky palm, there is a plastic covering to protect the glove palm while in its packaging. This plastic protection obviously must be taken off the glove palm before being used in match and or training situations.

But please note, BEFORE you peel off this plastic glove protective covering, please try the gloves on first to make sure that the gloves fit you correctly and that you are happy with the goalkeeper glove fit because we cannot replace and or refund any goalkeeper glove were the plastic protective covering has been removed from the glove palm.

Seams And Threads: Because the goalkeeper glove is a very soft and fragile material, with the very first use, and with further usage, this will put strain on the glove, seams and threads. As there is a lot of outside factors that are out of our control when a goalkeeper/customer wears a goalkeeper glove, GKG Canada cannot guarantee the seams and threads on our goalkeeper gloves.

For example, when a goalkeeper dives and lands on the ground, if they use their hand to break their fall (especially because the hand/glove will twist), and or the keeper use their hand(s) to help them get up off the ground, (especially when the hand/glove is twisted in this process) this is going to put a lot of unnatural stress on the seams and threads of the glove. So for this reason we cannot guarantee our gloves, if the seams and threads split.

Also, even though we recommends goalkeepers not to use ANY washing detergent to clean their gloves, some keepers/customers ignore this advice and use detergents, but some detergents will greatly weaken the seams and threads, which then makes the seams and threads prone to ripping.

So because of these factors, and many other factors that are out of our control, if seams or threads split and or rip on any of our goalkeeper gloves, we cannot be held responsible, and no refund or exchange will be given. 

IMPORTANT: If you want to return your goalkeeper gloves, because of wear and tear on your palm, please CLICK HERE and watch / read our advice, because like every other goalkeeper glove company, we cannot guarantee our glove palms because there is too many factors out of our control that can speed up the process of wear and tear.

Deliberate Damage:

If it is found that any products we sell has been deliberately damaged, for example, by stretching the wrist bands, seams and or threads, and or cutting or unpicking the seams and threads, no replacement or refunds will be given, and the customer will be then banned from ordering further from us.

If you have received a free sponsored pair of gloves, through our sponsorship program, we cannot replace or refund as we have given you this product for free. Also any personalization goalkeeper gloves cannot be refunded or exchanged.

Sadly we have had to put the above conditions in place because of the minority trying to get free products however please be rest assured we will be 100% fair when making our decision when a product is returned

We cannot accept any return after 30 days.

We also cannot be held responsible for products bought through our re-sellers. If you have bought through one of our re-sellers, you have to return your product to this re-seller in line with their terms and conditions. 

 

Changing of Size

If you are returning because you want to change sizing, any returns MUST still be in same new packaging. If there is any damage to the packaging or look of wear to the product no refund or replacement will be given.

If you want your product (s) replaced with another size, you will have to forward further postage costs before we can send out again.

If in the event we have sent out the wrong size in error, once we receive your returned item, we will not only send out your correct size at our cost, we will also cover the cost of your postage of the item (s) you have returned. So please add the cost of your return in covering letter and we will send a cheque for this amount as long as its a reasonable price. 

Any personalized goalkeeper gloves or apparel cannot be refunded or exchanged, unless there is a genuine fault with glove, so please make certain you order correct size.

 

What happens if you are not home when your delivery comes?

If you are not home our courier will leave a note explaining where your products(s) are stored for a period of time. (This is normally the local sorting office nearest you or maybe a neighbour.)

If you do not pick up your products(s), your products(s) are delivered back the below address:

We will then contact you and ask for further P+P costs to resend your products(s).

Please Note: We cannot send your item until further postage is paid as this is not our fault you did not collect your products(s).

If you ask for a refund at this stage as long as the products(s)and packaging are as new, we will refund your monies minus our original P+P costs and any credit card fees incured, plus a further $ 5.00 charge for our time and costs dealing with this query.
